A reference, not a promise

Pivot levels give my roadmap its reference points. They help me describe where price is relative to a preceding period. I still need to watch how price behaves there; the level alone cannot tell me the outcome.

Keep the period explicit

A monthly reference and a weekly reference answer different questions. Label the period and the source candles used to calculate the grid. Do not silently mix levels from different evaluation dates.

Describe acceptance and rejection

A wick, a close and sustained trading beyond a zone are different observations. State which event the analysis requires rather than changing the rule after the market moves.

Use zones consistently

If a method uses a zone around a level, preserve that definition across examples. Evaluate the whole zone, not only the boundary that happens to support the preferred narrative.

Connect structure to a question

Ask where price sits, which reference it has crossed and what evidence would change the reading. The grid supports the question; it does not replace uncertainty or risk assessment.
